TiGM - Technology in General Mathematics 2005/2006

The TiGM PD initiative has now finished after running for 2005-2006. We leave this page available for people to enjoy and use the resources.

The TiGM program offers:

Face-to-face professional development of the highest quality, facilitated by Anthony Harradine .
Sessions that run during the school day at a venue near to your school .
Sessions that aim at both the use of graphic calculator technology in 'the exam' as well as during the learning process .
Funding to pay for teacher relief to enable two teachers from your school to attend the sessions.
Syllabus specific, no nonsense and ready to use learning materials - just photocopy them and use them. The materials include 'how to steps' for the Casio CFX 9850GB PLUS graphics calculator.
On going email support.

In the first instance, TIGM will run for two years. The focus of 2005 was the Year 11 course and in 2006 the focus is the Year 12 course. The aim is to allow teachers and students to integrate graphic calculator technology into their learning over time, so that the greatest benefit can be achieved in both a learning and examination sense.
